SO EVERYONE WANTS TO BE A CRITIC. WE ALL HAVE THE RIGHT TO OUR OPINIONS BUT SOMETIMES WE NEED TO SCALE IT BACK AND CHECK OURSELVES. What in the entire world is happening to cynical cynics as people known to unknown are paying homage to the late Whitney Houston? Those who truly loved Whitney Houston are mourning. Whenever most people mourn the admirers, the fans, even celebrities they just want to do something. People want to do anything to just feel better.
Whitney Houston let’s be honest was often the joke of many media reporting sources, and simple conversations among those not in the media as she went through her struggles of addictions. To thine own-self be true if you were in the mix… you know… you already know. For others who were positive, who knew the ILLS of addictions, they had no parts of the salacious factor. What is going on now is mourning. What is going on now are prayers for a daughter left behind, a mother who is burying a child, and on and on and on.
Since hearing of Whitney’s death, let me tell you DEJA BEAUTIFUL’S visiting my blog something I know many can relate to. Casting the professional aside I am no singer but I’ve been belting out some of Houston’s greatest hits in bizarre ways. Went to the shower, jumped in and started singing, “You Give Good Love”. Cooking my Sunday dinner started singing ”I Can Go To The Rock”, and then other moments just breaking out into song. Then there are the tears, then hearing some of her live performances as I start to compile this upcoming tribute to be placed on 1021Online.com… it’s real, it’s real, it’s so real. If anyone has ever, I mean ever dealt with someone with an addiction, OMG for them to win or lose the battle will forever change your life.
So I say all of this to say, let us all SCALE IT BACK Beautiful’s. From the ones going in on people on YOUTUBE, going in on Ashanti’s recent performance on Good Morning America, just going in on everyone, people are just wanting to show love. We all have loss a woman who changed the music in many ways. That’s all I got right now but I wanted to share this and I hope you will pass it on in your own way. Whitney said in an interview that she felt the prayers and humbled by people wanted the best for her. This is all people are showing, just showing love. On this note, be blessed and ultra blessed.

No one can do Whitney songs like Whitney can but clearly Ashanti was trying to be a part of showing respect to one of the greatest singers of our time. Miss you Whitney, take your rest. We love you but God loves you best.
I thought Ashanti did fine. Come on now, people can be so heartless. I’ve been singing too, guess that’s me dealing with my grief. Praying for the family. What a horrific loss of a legend, the voice of our generation.
She won’t be the last one to do a tribute. Ashanti didn’t sound bad to me. She sung out of love for Whitney. Bebe I was singing and crying to. No shame. This is how Whitney’s music touched us all. Thanks for the music Whitney, you are singing with the angels now.

People want to bring up Chaka’s ‘have no right to speak’ on Whitney because she did drugs. FOH. I can’t stand ignorant blogs so I came over here to give my say because you all act more mature. Chaka had every right to speak out on what she felt was disrespectful and how she felt about Whitney’s entourage. Who else better to speak than one who has lived the hell? Wise up people. Whitney made her decisions but the people around her wasn’t about shit to let her near substances that took her frail and worn out body out. Jennifer I give her props too because she didn’t try to make Whitney out to be the good girl and Bobby Brown the bad guy. Thanks for posting this in a way that keeps it real too. Whitney didn’t have to die this way but she did. Now it is going to be up to Bobbi Kris to decide if she wants better for her life or not. Praying like everyone else for all who are truly hurting.
People love to go hard in the paint for no reason but Chaka went hard in the paint for a good reason. Piers didn’t know quite how to take her honesty and I loved it. She stole his thunder saying yes I am a recovering addict. I think before some people respond they need to see the interview because I saw the interview. Chaka did her thing with Whitney and Bobby and she spoke the truth. That party should have been called off. Clive should have been so sick someone would have made a statement for him. Isn’t he Bobbi Kris Godfather? This is where he was needed. I tell ya. Just sit back and look at the mess before you. If you want fame there is a price but the price begins and ends with you. Whitney clearly stated no one makes me do what I don’t want to do. I believe her. I don’t think she would have appreciated that party going on downstairs. Chaka told the truth. If this is how people show their love I hate to see how they show they hate me. God protect Bobbi Kris. Now they talking about if Whitney changed the Estate names so that Bobby Brown can’t get any of her money. I hope she had that done. Addictions are no joke.
