THE PITTSBURGH STEELERS are the AFC Champions, headed to the Super-bowl to face off with the Green-bay Packers. Congrats to STEELER NATION on a much anticipated game and a pretty solid season.
sidenote: True Steeler fans know it’s Black n Gold NOT Black n Yellow… So I’m going to need some of you to stop with the YELLOW. I am not even a Steeler’s fan but I know that much. Do better or you will find yourself exposed.
Frauds… you can tell them every time ( laughing )
MIKE TOMLIN, Coach of The Pittsburgh Steelers
( unquote ) Tomlin spoke on his respect for The Jets making it to the Championship, his respect for his team, the true brotherhood of the team and was quite pleased putting on the CHAMPIONSHIP T-SHIRT. His tone was level, with much pride in the victory that many of us witnessed for NFL SUNDAY.

The New York Jets had an outstanding season, with no bye week, many say this was part of the problem. Of course you have to look at more components than this but it truly was an amazing ride to get here for the Jets – they should be proud of the accomplishments.
REX RYAN, Coach of The NY Jets
At the podium was very silent. It was an uncomfortable silence. Then the words came, “Very proud of my team. We played a good half but we never played a good game. Gotta give Pittsburgh credit, they are a heck of a football team. Obviously there is just a huge amount of disappointment but I am proud of my team. Again, our goal for next year, I got news for you, it won’t change, it won’t never change. We’re gonna chase it until we it. You got no right to criticize us.” The Pittsburgh Steelers is a good football team, they deserve to go to the Super-bowl. From there Coach Ryan opened up for questions.
From the beginning, Big Ben literally got the first down in the first half of the game, with nine minute drives – ALL PITTSBURGH. Mendenhall #34 making his great plays, it was a sight to see. Big Ben doesn’t discriminate with the ball, he gives the rookies some love with the passes, confidence in his team. The first half of the game came with fumbles, a corner blitz, a 19 yard touchdown – Pittsburgh was owning the field and the scoreboard. One love goes out to the Offensive/Defensive line of the Pittsburgh Steelers. Big Ben will run the ball. If you are a SUPER SPORT’S FAN LIKE ME, Ben’s been doing this since the high school days in Ohio, much improvising, he can shake off the arm tackles, and Ben will go get the 1st down, no problem. People were saying GAME OVER BY THIS POINT of pure dominance, but it would not be the case GOOD PEOPLE AND TRUE SPORT FANS.
From sacking Sanchez, Steelers scoring continuously on the Jets, running game, physical to the core – Pittsburgh dominated. During the third quarter some adjustments were made from the New York Jets. From a field goal, touchdown by Santonio #10 from the Jets, this knocked the lead down from 24-10 – 24-19 – giving new life to The Jets from being ‘swept’. The dynamics changed during the second half, showing a different looking New York Jets – definitely not lackluster. While the Jets scored, time was running out – SPORTS FANS YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN.
With the clock not on the Jets side, Pittsburgh would win the game, with Rex Ryan shown throwing down the headset. GAME OVER. Realistically when down by that much with the score the way it was, with the defense of Pittsburgh, it is not impossible but very unlikely to make the comeback on this caliber of team. The windchill during the game was below zero, good football weather, the fans of both teams attending on both sides are DEDICATED. When it comes to heart and respect both teams have great QB’s and outstanding Sportsmanship.
At the 1 minute mark in the 4th quarter, THE PITTSBURGH STEELERS ARE THE AFC CHAMPIONS headed to the Super-bowl to face-off with THE GREENBAY PACKERS. At the podium, Ben Roethlisberger gives sportsmanship love to Rex Ryan and the NY Jets for slowing them down in the second half. Roethlisberger stayed very humble during press conference, giving big love to his team, definitely a BROTHERHOOD to be proud of. The TERRIBLE TOWELS ARE WAVING AROUND STEELER NATION, the feeling is ecstatic. Super-bowl 45 happens February 6 in Dallas Texas. I am working it out, no definite but I am trying to be there like last year.
Gotta love the game.
PACKERS VS STEELERS… this is going to be a great Super-bowl Game.
