Naturalistic Vibes Series: Damian Marley

Naturalistic Vibes…

This mind of mine is ever flowing to present more thought-provoking coverage.  I choose this type of coverage over the popular with no substance coverage when it comes to THE DEJA to ‘VU U’ thoroughly.  It’s gonna be a short but beautiful series… enjoy.

NATURALISTIC VIBES

MAGNETISM…

Definition: ability to attract; “a charismatic leader”; “a magnetic personality”

Presenting…  THE MARLEY MEN MAGNETISM SERIES

Damian Marley is the first of many sons of  Worldwide Legend Bob Marley to be featured at THE DEJA’s Original Series NATURALISTIC VIBES SERIES.  Damian Robert Nesta Jr Gong Marley  is also the youngest of the sons with an amazing background.  The Grammy Award Winner was just two years old when his father died.   His mother is Cindy Breakspeare, a Jamacian jazz musician, model and crowned Miss World in 1976, the oldest international beauty pageant created in the UK by Eric Morely in 1951.

NATURAL APPEAL

In my head stirs the song, ‘Light My Fire’ along with the words, “You know that it would be untrue, you that I would be a liar”…  to say  no appeal comes from the association of the name Marley -much appeal comes from the name along and it holds substance because the talent is there -unique talent.  Many people gravitate to a person because of the name, so I would be untrue and a liar if I said this is what  soley does it for many people.

For me it is about the character after the initial curiosity wears off.  There’s a certain scrutiny that comes into play when being a child of a famous person.  I’ve  found most children of celebs want to create their own path while staying true to a rich legacy or diassociating themselves entirely from the legacy.

Damian creates his own path and honors the legacy of his father.

Damian has worked with some of the best in the musical biz, and with his brothers Ziggy, Stephen, Ky-Mani,  Julian and Rohan.

I love the fact there isn’t this FAME WHORE SYNDROME attached to Damian and his music, his collabos are very rich in production.

As for Damian Marley, he’s created his niche adding to the beautiful legacy of father Bob Marley.  While for many ‘Welcome To Jamrock’ is a very powerful song/album, his most recent work with Nas  ‘Distant Relatives’ is an album to be among your other collector items.

Count Your Blessings,  Strong Will Continue, Land Of Promise -Favs ♫ On DR

Passion is what takes one places never reached before when combined with talent.  There is a purness to his music, as well as that rebel level that sustains the importance of  truth and light.

A Naturalistic Vibe he has.

    • Artist such as this don’t get enough props. I love his whole vibe. For me reggae music has never gotten enough props. I wish them a beautiful journey giving themselves and lovers of reggage good music.

  1. Checking you out Bebe. Thanks for showing the Marley Men love. I will be looking forward to more. Leave it to you to keep me coming back for more. Don’t lose sight of the vibe here.

    • All this talent in one family is the true workings of the DIVINE ONE. Marley Love to everyone under the sun. Who is next, excited already.

  2. I like the FACT they are being true to themselves, and they aren’t trying to walk in their father’s shoes. I feel that respects the memory and makes the legacy continue. He is so interesting to watch and listen to. His locs are beautiful too, none of that manufactured stuff. Always and forever Marley Love.

  3. Count your blessings feat Nas is beautiful. I can honestly say we are getting robbed when it comes to getting good music like this playing on the radio station consistently. Good series, I look forward to it.
