As a media professional I’ve never been on the whole hyping up some artist just because the masses say they are hot or someone is offering writing me checks to promote more this artist and not another. At the end of my day, I like to be as fair and balance as I can. With my blog, my online magazine, my online talk show and other ventures, I just cannot be bought like that. I cover what is good for me to cover people, places, breaking news, social issues, whatev’s.

Khia had some some interesting glasses ( Mercury Glasses If I am wrong on the spelling, let me know, I will correct ) while be interviewed. The interviewer ( Tanya Rivero stated to Khia the glasses were fab, unquote ). Tanya were you really feeling the glasses or saying subliminally they were FAB MESSY? I truly jest here, it’s a fun post people. I am not feeling the glasses but they are fun to look at so whatev’s on that too.
To many around the media sphere, they were shocked at how well spoken Khia was. You’ve been ZOOMED ( See Aretha Who’s Zooming Who ), if you think most of the rappers speak on the daily how they speak when rapping, or in character. Those who say ABC had a slow day interviewing Khia you have it all wrong. Just because the current rap hype is so hyped doesn’t mean everyone is checking for them. Khia has that determination factor and she has succeeded in making you ‘look twice’ and then some.
I would love to see Kelis and Khia do something together.
Do I agree with all that she does? Of course not!
Do I respect she has her own label and selling units independently? Yes!

I definitely thought it was a great look working with Janet Jackson on her last album ( So Excited ) and I definitely thought Khia took the high road on the controversy question regarding Janet. Khia if reading, BAD GIRL, keep that up! The interview was really cool. The ABC interview didn’t pull any punches on Khia’s past and she handled that very good too. I know many if their past was brought up, they would have went off. Khia showed ya!

Much respect that she write’s her shit. Khia is a good example of KEEPING YOUR BREAD UP. She doesn’t have to share the hard work with a crew, pay out and lose out to budget a high priced video.
