NARS Body Glow and Monoi Body Glow II Set
The Monoi de tahiti oils many brands carry can be greasy, overpowering, underpowering. I like NARS product because of the non greasy factor. The oil soaks in nicely leaving a subtle scent one can appreciate. Sometimes I am not in the mood to be overpowering through my fragrance. Sometimes less is more.
The going price on the Monoi Oil Set is $59. Ouch! Yea I know. The bottles aren’t large but they go along way with a light touch. You can use the clear bottle in your bath, after a bath or shower on the skin, wear this oil as a fragrance or with a light fragrance that pairs well. It won’t overpower but be a great addition.
I wear the clear bottle as fragrance and moisturizer without the use of another fragrance competing for attention. After I shower while my body is still damp, I pour all over me in the shower, Neutrogena Body Oil light sesame formula. I get a smooth finish, with a nice shine then I use the Manoi Oil on my pulse points.
spring/summer application
If I want to have a heavier scented experience I apply more to my body. Definitely you and you alone know how much to apply. The Body Glow II bronze bottle is divine. If you are looking for a bronzer that is going to give you dramatic results this might not be the bronzer for you. It’s delicate in nature that will give you a very nice bronze. NARS gives you that subtleness.
I like this bronze and this is coming from a Woman of Color. With my brown complextion I get the bronze I am looking for. I don’t have to worry about staining my clothes, very pleased. While the price can leave many hesitant, shop around a bit.
I found my beautiful second set for $20 at TJ Maxx.
It was as if it The Nars Set was waiting for me. I quickly picked it up, made my way to the counter, with a big smile on my face.
This is a Luxury Product, from a luxury brand, that carries a luxury price.
