Cool name right? I love how that flows from my lips… The Candle Contessa. Here’s a product that I highly suggest for the candle lover in you.  It comes from Shearer Candles Est 1897.  My great-grandmother was six years old when Shearer Candles a family run business from Glasgow UK  was formed.

The product catalouge is vast!  The scent I adore is Amber & Rose Fondant.  This candle comes in scented jar, pillar, tealight, silver tin and the one I use, scented jar.  The fragrance is somewhat ‘heady’ so if you are like super sensitive, I dunno… this might not be for you.

As a Candle Contessa I love the funkylicious packaging happening with candles.  Many are  ‘boxed’ which leaves this CC feeling lil butterflies in my stomache as I open up the box containing the candles.  My girlfriend loves the Fluer de’Angelique scented candle ( see picture below ) , she is a Candle Contessa too.

 I was daydreaming about the Ultimate Wedding… yes I have the bride gene flowing at times. Of course this dream sequence was from Sex And The City Movie.  I am so Carrie Character ( complete with a Mr. Big ) but hence, the wedding dresses Carrie was photographed in were so to faint for.  I thought about picking one of those dresses, and having a candlelit night wedding.

Then other daydreams are being serenaded in an open cave on a seaside cliff.  White Wine, grapes, crackers, cheese, some chocolate somewhere in the mix, postachios, pillows, blankets, and yes the candles.  I guess you are saying to yourself  Bebe’s dreams are vivid. Yes they are.  I live my life vivid.

It is a joy to see other Candle Contessa’s!  It’s a moment when making eye contact that we really feel the love from each other regarding the upmost respect for candles.  My love affair with candles are public knowledge.  I gush, ooh and aww over a nicely packaged and scented candle. I can also go rouge and go for some of the wildest combination scents too.

Candles put me in various moods. Dare I say it but I will. This particular scent Shearer’s Amber Rose Fondant can be paired very nicely with the Kama Sutra Honey Dust Collection.  If you ever ‘flicked the feathers’ and tasted the honey dust, it is a perfect match.  I love the clean scentes that reminds me of days gone by with family, friends and self.  Candles are really relaxing.  Even when I do my shows on Sundays ( The GoldVault1021 Talk Show ), the studio is softly lit and there is a candle lit taking me through my shows.   Do you cook with the candles?  Oh sure… not all the time but at least five times out of the year. 

Legend has it that sometimes  some of the Angelic Host are drawn to the light of the candle.  It is a very serene atmosphere for the most part, so I won’t argue with that at all.  Escape and find your inner Candle Contessa. Release and go forth to indulge.  In many of my post, I always speak in indulging.  I truly believe that when it is not detrimental to your essence, INDLUGLE.  I hope you are swayed to try these scents by Shearer and other products.  Be Peaceful And Positive.
